Quontum Studio

The sun is out and we had a tidy up in the studio today. The river looks great when the weather is like it has been today and all windows in the studio look over the Thames (well.....the industrial, suburban end of it).

High summer styles are now delivered and just 3 more to go which will arrive early next week ....and then we start making for winter again.

I moved around all the mannequins today and they didn't look shivery now the sun is pouring in through all the windows. During the rain recently it sometimes felt like we should put a jumper over them.

Our bodies, leggings and mini shorts all go through production from next week and a couple are in the shot below. We hope to have the first batch ready for sale in July with the remainder coming in through August.
It's taken some time  to get all these together as we can't really manufacture the bodies in the UK (alongside the rest of our range) as they final retail price just came in too high so the jumpsuits, bodies and mini shorts will all be made in Europe.

My favourite range this season is still the white/gold so it will stay in the corner until the sun goes away again. We close for annual leave in 2 weeks time (and are going somewhere nice and hot) and looking at this corner reminds me of the much needed holiday to come.

The Quontum reversible dress in flo pink/yellow and coral/lime arives next Friday (1st June) so going to pop out early tomorow morning to pick up some shoes to go with them for our photo shoot next Friday.  Hoping that Bluewater wll be deserted as everyone will have left the suburbs to hit the beaches......but probably not.

The pink/yellow one is to the left of the pic below. I know we have a great pic of Heather wearing it (with Lulu the dog) so that will be the banner for the website whilst we are away.

Looking forward to next week as we have a couple of exciting meetings, the photo shoot, a cloth buying appointment and starting on the Xmas 12 dress range.
